Sam Stone, Director of Purchasing, has been with PSX since 2006. Sam leads all efforts on behalf of PSX as it relates to the management and procurement of materials, equipment and vendor relationships.
Sam is a people-centric leader, who prides himself on building trust and long-term successful relationships with his team members, clients and vendors alike. Sam always goes the extra mile to ensure that the highest level of attention, care and professionalism is given to each project and relationship. In addition to his primary role, Sam leads proposal development, contract management, warranty services, managing purchasing, sales tax, and job cost accounting for PSX. Sam also assists the Controller with general ledger reconciliations, annual audits, and billing of receivables through AIA software.
Sam has been in the Technology Industry for 21 years and has offered his knowledge and expertise to projects including; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, The Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and Harrah’s Hotel New Orleans.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Southeastern Louisiana University.
When he’s not at PSX, Sam enjoys playing music, cooking, and traveling with his family.
